Central DeWitt elementary and intermediate students had the option of getting vaccinated for the flu. Nasal spray vaccines were not an option this year. Because of concerns about its effectiveness, the Centers for Disease Control recommended the FluMist Quadrivalent not be used during the 2016-2017 flu season.
