Bill Bauer and Madonna Wing were crowned king and queen Friday afternoon at Westwing Place in DeWitt. Each year during National Hospital and Nursing Home Week, residents and employees vote for the couple who will represent the facility in the Fourth of July parade.

Public likes library plan that closes 10th Street
If a straw vote - or, more accurately, a sticker vote - is any indication, DeWitt residents want to see half of 10th Street closed down for an addition to the library.
