Dorothy June Weber, 95, of DeWitt, died Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Westwing Place in DeWitt.
Mrs. Weber, the former Dorothy Schunter, was born June 15, 1921, in Grand Mound, to the late Will and Dora Tebbe Schunter. She was a 1938 graduate of Grand Mound High School. Dorothy married Leo Weber on Nov. 1, 1947, in Newton. She worked at the bank in Grand Mound and at DeWitt Bank and Trust.
Dorothy was a member of DeWitt United Methodist Church, Ci-Ed, and UMW Circle. She enjoyed reading, traveling, puzzles, and the New York Times crossword puzzle.
Surviving are two sons, Andy (Joni) Weber of DeWitt, and Bill (Jean) Weber of Riverside; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Margaret Ann; an infant son, Thomas; a brother, Bill Schunter; and twin sisters, Mildred Christiansen and Margaret Reynolds.
Visitation will be from 9 until 10:15 a.m. Friday, May 12, at DeWitt United Methodist Church. A service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the church. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in DeWitt.
