Richard J. "Dick" Hanrahan
Richard J. "Dick" Hanrahan, 64, of DeWitt died at his home Jan. 2, 2013.

A memorial service will take place at 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel, Clinton.

A visitation will occur two hours prior to the memorial service 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.

  Richard was born Dec. 22, 1948, in Clinton to Urban and Marcella Connole Hanrahan. Richard was a 1964 graduate of Central Community High School, DeWitt.

  Richard enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeye football team.

  Richard is survived by a daughter, Jill Kind of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; two granddaughters; a brother, Tom Hanrahan of Woodland Hill, Calif.; and a nephew.

  He was preceded in death by his parents.

  Memorials may be directed to the family.
